Third sector Online today reports that a Government-backed project to foster innovation in the voluntary sector is to launch a scheme to offer funding and in-kind support for organisations working on independent living issues or with excluded young people.
The Innovation Exchange, a partnership between the Government’s Innovation Unit, chief executives body Acevo and social networking software company Headshift, has secured backing from the National Endowment for Science, Technology and the Arts to set up the Nesta Innovation Exchange Fund. The fund will offer awards of between £10,000 and £40,000.
