Foyle Foundation

The Foyle Foundation is an independent grantmaking trust that distributes grants to UK charities whose core work is in the areas of Learning, the Arts and Health.

Eligibility

Applications from individuals or organisations without charitable status will be ineligible.

What For?

The Foundation’s main priorities for support are:

  • libraries, museums and archives; and
  • special educational needs and learning difficulties

State funded schools and special schools may be supported (see special guidance notes).

Citizenship, esteem-building, training, skills acquisition to aid employment, early learning projects or playgroups will not generally be considered.

The Foundation will consider both revenue and capital projects.

Organisations and projects that provide direct benefits and services to the public, rather than special interest groups will be favoured.

Applications for grants because funding is difficult to obtain will be of particular interest to the Trustees.

How Much?

Between £10,000 and £50,000.

Deadline

Applications are accepted all year round, there are no deadlines.
